Susan R. Wessler, Ph.D. (b. 1953, New York City) is an American plant molecular biologist and geneticist. She is Distinguished Professor of Genetics at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). Wessler graduated from the Bronx High School of Science in 1970.〔"Susan R.
